Facilities at Kettering General Hospital

KGH has the following on-site facilities for patients, visitors and staff. 

Basement Brassiere

The Basement Brassiere is located on the lower ground floor of the Main Hospital Building. Accessed via the lift or stairs adjacent to the reception desk in the main entrance, please follow the directional signs for the Basement Brassiere.
It is a space to eat and relax. Selling a selection of hot food, including jacket potatoes, pasta along with hot and cold drinks and pre-packed take-away food.  It has a Costa Express machine.
  • Opening times to visitors:  9.00am- 3.00pm Monday to Friday.  (Breakfast served between 9.00am – 10.30am and lunch served between11.30am – 2.30pm.   
The Basement Brassiere accepts both cash and cards.
Food preferences and allergy information - Options include meat and vegetarian. Gluten free sandwiches and grab and go snacks will be available to purchase.  Due to potential cross-contamination risks, main meals will not be offered with a gluten free option.

Costa
Costa is in the reception area of the main hospital building.
  • Opening times:  7.00am - 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am - 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
 
Coffee House Cafe
Coffee House Café is in the area next to the Emergency Department. It sells a selection of hot and cold food along with hot and cold drinks.
  • Opening times: 8.00am- 6.00pm Monday to Friday.  Closed Saturday and Sunday.
 
24 Hour Vending Area
Situated in the Atrium of the Foundation Wing.  The 24 hour vending machine is open to staff and visitors. Flavoursome convenience meals from around the world provided by YumChop; can be heated within the vending machine.
 
Amigo Shop
The Amigo shop is based at the main hospital building, sells a range of products including magazines, newspapers, snacks and drinks.
  • Opening times: 7.30 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Friday and 10.30am to 3.30pm Saturday and Sunday.
 
Royal Mail Collection Box
Collection time 9am Monday - Friday and Saturday 7am.
