Northants Breast Pain Clinic
Breast pain is very common in women of all ages. It causes worry and anxiety, but on its own is not usually a sign of breast cancer.
KGH holds clinics specifically focused on breast pain following a referral from your GP to the Northants Breast Pain Clinic.
During these appointments a Nurse Practitioner will:

Take a detailed history of your symptoms

Perform a breast examination

Provide you with supportive information to explain, reassure and manage breast pain

Provide a family history risk assessment
-
Can refer you on to the genetics team, if we find you have a raised risk of developing breast cancer.
