Kettering General Hospital is officially opening its £1.8m new Maxillo-Facial and Orthodontic Unit on Friday, June 7, 2019.

The new unit has doubled the size of the department and expanded and significantly improved services for patients – and staff - and enabled the Trust to address increased demands on the service.

A pregnancy and baby road show is being hosted by Kettering General Hospital to help hundreds of parents-to-be to prepare for their big day and subsequently care for their baby.

The event, on Wednesday, June 5, is the 31^st in 21 years and it will provide a huge range of advice on all aspects of pregnancy and baby care.

Kettering General Hospital has come out of special measures after a Care Quality Commission (CQC) published today (May 22, 2019) found it had made significant improvements.

Our Operating Department Practitioners will be holding an information stand in our main reception from 9am-5pm and be on hand to explain more about their essential role in our operating theatres.

The Trust has just passed an external assessment and validation to receive full reaccreditation for the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Maternity Standards.

Help us support the Crazy Hats Breast Cancer charity at their next fundraising walk at Wicksteed Park on May 19^th (10.30a.m. start)

Last year’s walk attracted over 1,700 walkers and their dogs and an amazing £50,000 was raised through sponsorship. All funds raised were used to support hospital projects (at both KGH and NGH), the holiday home and the charity’s own support and therapy services.
