Industrial Action RCN 20 December 2022
You may notice activity in our services today involving KGH staff who are taking part in national industrial action. There should be minimal disruption to traffic but please take care when driving at KGH sites.
As a Trust we have plans to deal with disruptions such as industrial action and have been working in partnership with members of the RCN to ensure our urgent services are prioritised. Patient and staff safety remains our priority and we will continue to run as many of our services as possible.
With the impact of strike action on 20 December at Kettering General Hospital, we have stepped down some planned services and those patients affected have been contacted directly by our hospital. If you have not been contacted, please attend your appointment as planned. Our hospital remains open. As always, if you need urgent medical care or advice, please visit 111.nhs.uk to ensure you are using the right service for your symptoms.
Corby Urgent Care Centre are open and provide treatment for minor injuries and minor illness for the local community. Thank you for your ongoing support .
